Don’t get excited. I’m nowhere near done traveling. I love it.

But, Chris and I have found a house. Not to buy, just rent. And it fits all (most) of our wants.

It is by the water. Has a decent size backyard. Has 3 bedrooms. A good size kitchen. Meets our budget. And looks nice as well as in a good location. The only thing it doesn’t have is wood floors. Instead green carpet throughout (yuck)!

We got lucky. The house is across the street from my grandparents and wasn’t even up for rent. My grandpa knows the guy who owns it and gave him a call for us. Turns out he does want to rent it again. So we are in. He also doesn’t care that we have dogs. Score!

So this Sunday we are headed down to Florida (where the house is), going to sign the papers, get the keys, and move right in! I’m going to take pictures and post them begging for input on how to design the living room, den, office, and guest bedrooms. So watch for that!! Anyone that has any tips on moving into your first house, let me know through comments or email!
